ONW Orchestra Concert

By Nicole Warner and Paige Gerstner

On Tuesday, January 5, orchestra students performed their annual theme concert “At the Movies” featuring songs from Star Wars, Cocoa, Pirates of the Caribbean, and much more. This let freshmen, concert and advanced orchestra students show off their skills and pieces they’ve been working on for the past few months.

“This concert helped benefited us as it helps us come together as a group and it makes it a lot better,” said Libby Zuck, a freshmen orchestra player. Not only is it about skills, but it is also about teamwork. This concert holds many memories as the concert progresses throughout the evening.

From different songs being played to a few people even dressing up as Star Wars characters, many people come to enjoy their favorite movie theme being played.  “My favorite part of the concert is Lord of the Rings. I’m obsessed with Lord of the Rings and I also really liked how they played it” said senior Levi Brabec.

This theme concert is held every year with different music, so come out next year to listen to all the great music that the orchestra has to offer.
