The Raven Men headed to Shawnee Mission South Tuesday night for their Varsity Basketball game against the Raiders. The game started out rough as the Ravens couldn’t find the bottom of the net but were able to get Chase Franks going down low for a couple of easy buckets. The Ravens trailed at the end of the first quarter 20-9. The Ravens picked up the defense allowing the Raiders to just eight points in the second quarter. The Ravens finished the quarter down, 28-14. At the end of the third quarter, the Ravens continued to trail the Raiders, 46-23. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Raiders began to foul a lot, and the Ravens began to mount a comeback. With two minutes remaining, the Ravens were able to score 11 points and close the gap. Most of these points came at the free throw line from countess fouls by the Raiders. It wasn’t enough, however, as the Ravens fell, 55-38. The Ravens hit the hardwood again this Friday against Olathe East.
