Lady Raven Soccer Team defeats Spring Hill for their season opener

Tuesday, March 19th, The Lady Ravens Soccer team had their first soccer game of the season. The Ravens played the strong 4A Spring Hill team. Which is also where Coach Graham started his soccer career, opening the program up for the Broncos. The Ravens controlled the ball well, distributing through the middle and hitting the outside forwards on diagonal runs. With a lot of these opportunities the girls were able to get a corner around the 15th minute mark. This allowed Mia Haake’s touch to assist Lyndsey Carr for the first goal. In the second half the girls continued to dominate the Broncos getting the second goal by Malia Shinkle. Great 2-0 win to start the season and shutouts by Tori Spurgeon and Emma Smither. The Lady Ravens next game is at CBAC Tuesday night at 7.
