Girls soccer team battles: 3 time 5A State Champs

Saturday April 27th, the Raven Soccer team took on the raining three time 5A state champs, Blue Valley Southwest. The game started very messy with BVSW getting lots of early opportunities. Once the Ravens started playing the girls dominated the first half and had lots of shots. Going into the second half the girls applied more pressure onto the timberwolves. Although the Ravens had multiple opportunities with corner kicks and open shots the girls couldn’t get the ball in the back of the net. With less than 10 minutes left the Timberwolves stole the ball at the half line to end the game with a score of 0-1. The next game is Monday at CBAC against SMW at 7.
