ONW Track at SMN Relays

The Raven Track team competed at the Shawnee Mission North Relays last week. The meet is historically very competitive and this year had more than 40 teams in attendance. On the girls side, in the 300 m hurdles, Jaleesa McWashington placed 3rd and also placed 1st in the long jump and second in the triple jump. In the high jump, Maddie Righter placed first and placed 2nd in the High Jump. The girls team placed 5th in team points in the meet. On the boys side, Brett Beard placed 3rd in the 800m run. Connor Boyd won the shot put and placed 3rd in the discus. The Boys 4x800m relay team or Andrew Tracy, Braeden Beard, Bret Beard, and Cole Morris broke the school record again and placed first. The Boys 4x400m relay team of Andrew Tracy, Braeden Beard, Chris George, and Cole Morris placed second to end the night. The boys team placed 2nd in points in the meet. The Ravens next meet is Sunflower League at Shawnee Mission South. Be there to support your Ravens!
