Football team drops a tough one to Shawnee Mission South

On Friday, October 12th, the Olathe Northwest Ravens battled the Shawnee Mission South Raiders in their last home game of the season. The Ravens coming off their first win of the season against the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars, were hoping to come away with another victory. The first quarter started off strong for the Ravens. They scored two touchdowns while holding the Raiders out of the end zone to lead 14-3.

In the second half, the Raiders stepped up their game. The Ravens made some big plays but struggled to get some points on the board. The Raiders continued to outreach the Ravens and ending up winning by a score of 38-21. Although the Ravens dropped a tough one, they continue to get better and learn from every game.

The Ravens have their last regular season game this Friday against hometown rivals Olathe North.
