ONW Volleyball Has Challenging Weekend

The Ravens were back last Thursday at Saint James, playing Bonner Springs and The Lady Thunder. The ladies smashed the first game against Bonner Springs winning 25-15 and 25-19. Following the game, the Ravens helped Saint James support the Lemon Out which is their fundraiser for Pediatric Cancer. Following that, the Ravens took a tough loss to the Thunder in two sets.

The Ravens had to do a quick turn around, playing in a round-robin tournament on homecoming day in Lawrence. The Ravens had a tough morning losing two games to Lawrence (12-25, 18-25) and Blue Valley (23-25, 25-22, 17-25). The ladies didn’t want their Hocoming to be spoiled so they came back and beat Manhattan (25-17, 25-23) and Blue Valley West (25-15, 25-18).
