Northwest baseball dominates River City

On Friday the 19th, the Olathe Northwest Ravens baseball team was at Lawrence High School to play Jeff City and Warrensburg for a River City Tournament double header. In game 1, Tayler Mahoney went the whole way on the bump for a complete game. In his first start this season, shortstop Brady Robinson made some fantastic plays in the field and had 3 quality at bats. At the plate, Kolton Voss had 3 hits and 3 RBIs, leading ONW to a 4-2 victory over Jeff City.

In game two, Olathe Northwest was put up against the Warrensburg Tigers. In the second inning, the Ravens put 6 on the scoreboard and ran with the game from there. Behind a 2 hits apiece from Wyatt Morgan (including a homerun), Brady Robinson, and Grant Hall, the Ravens scored 10 runs for the first time this year. Kolton Voss pitched 6 solid innings, and ONW went 3-0 in the River City Tournament for the second time in school history.
