The Raven track team hurdles the competition

The Ravens track team competed in the Olathe invite at ODAC. The team made a strong showing with many ravens taking to the podium. The first medals of the night went to Cole Morris and Dylan Warner placing 2nd and 3rd in the 400. Edwin Arellano-Aleman placed third 110 meter hurdles. The boys 4×400 team of Tracy, Werner, George, and Morris placed 2nd. The boys 4×800 team of Tracy, Morris, Brett Beard, and Ling got 3rd. Mario Hanson placed 2nd in the long jump. Connor Boyd took home the gold in the discus and the bronze in shot put.

On the girls side, Bre Geary placed second in the 400. Lydia Mcglocklin finished first in the 1600m run. Maddie Righter got first in the high jump and second in the 100m hurdles and in the long jump. Jaleesa McWashington got third in the long jump and second in the triple jump. Linsey Heller in the triple jump. The girls 4×100 relay team of Morgan, Heller, Geary, and Righter got 3rd. To end the night the girls 4×400 team of Geary, Hafner, Fitzwater, and McWashington got third.

The ravens compete this friday at the shawnee mission west relays
